Canadian Health Services Research Foundation: "Is Research working for you? A self-assessment tool and discussion guide for health services management and policy organizations"
After an extensive and rigorous validation and evaluation process, the tool is now ready to be used by decision-making organizations who want to generate an internal discussion about how well they use research and where there is potential for improvement.
The tool asks decision makers to work together to answer questions about how well their organization acquires, assesses, adapts, and applies research evidence. Through self-assessment, an organization can discover its strengths, identify gaps, and make plans for addressing priority areas in the future. The tool will not only help in self-evaluation, but also provide ideas for where and how to enhance research use.
