This database includes:

  • contact details of the lead person for R&D within academic institutions
  • special areas of research activity within academic institutions
  • links to the R&D web pages (where available) of the UK academic institutions that offer a health-related course

Please note: This database was last updated between June - September 2008. We contacted all 84 academic institutions in the UK which offer pre or post-registration nursing/healthcare courses to update their details and institutions' research areas.

Only the Institutions which responded to our enquiries have been included.

There are three ways to search:

  • Using the University or Department name e.g. 'Bangor University'
  • University location e.g. 'London'
  • Area of research interest e.g. 'Mental health'.
