Disseminating your research

So you’ve been holed up in your little research world, and you’ve now got world significant results which you want everyone to know about. Alright, it’s not always on that scale, but one of the fundamental problems of research is how to effectively disseminate your work to a wider audience. A large amount of innovative work is simply never reported. This section will help you find the right avenue for disseminating your work.

Conferences – call for papers

One of the most popular ways of presenting your research is to give a paper or show a poster at a conference. These can be large international ones right down to open days at your own hospital. This section gives you details of all the conferences we have information about with current call for papers.

Journals

It may not appear so, but most journal editors and publishing houses are crying out for good quality research to publish. To help match up your work with potentially suitable journals/publishers, we invited editors and publishing houses to fill in a simple pro-forma, giving information about their journal/ publishing house. The resulting list is not exhaustive, but should provide you with information that is more useful than simply the name of the journal/publishing house.
