Sisters Memories from the Courageous Nurses of World War Two

Researched and written by RCN member, Barbara Mortimer, this book drew on the RCN's archive of oral history interview collection. Using 150 unpublished extraordinary real-life stories, these courageous individuals relate with candour, wit and compassion their memories of the war. "Sisters" captures their pride, grief and joy and is a fitting tribute to their spirit and bravery.
