Journal of research in nursing call for papers
The JRN is commissioning papers to publish in focussed editions during 2014. The first two themes are on integrated care and race, ethnicity and nursing.
Integrated Care - edited by Professors Julienne Meyer and Andrée le May, examples of issues your paper may cover are:
- Research studies focussing on experiences of integrated care
- Evaluation studies where different models of integrated care are compared
- Case studies of integrated care, where care is co-ordinated round the needs of the individual and not the system
- Research studies focussing on multi-agency, multi-sectoral working to deliver person-centred care
- Practice development initiatives where examples of good integrated care are described and evaluated
Race, ethnicity and nursing - edited by Professor Lorraine Culley, examples of issues your paper may cover are
- The policy context of race/ethnicity and its impact on nursing in national or cross-national settings
- Delivering nursing care in the context of ethnic and racial diversity
- Ethnic and racial diversity and the nursing workforce
- Race/ethnicity and nurse education
- The quality of race/ethnicity research in nursing
