Nurses leading health care transformation in Canada
As part of its initiative "A Nursing Call to Action", the Canadian Nurses Association's National Expert Commission, partnered with Canadian Health Services Research Foundation to research the impacts and potential of nurse-led innovations in healthcare transformation. Three research reports issued in June 2012 look at better health, better care and better value:
- Better Health: Examines the determinants of health and health outcomes, and the role of nurses, in achieving the healthiest populations. Carles Muntaner et al
- Better Care: Analyzes nursing and healthcare system outcomes. Gina Browne et al
- Better Value: Looks at the impact of current funding models and the value of health and healthcare. Stuart N. Soroka et al.
