Leadership Starts with Me
Forming the first national strategy for leadership in the adult social care sector, these principles developed on behalf of the DH by the National Skills Academy for Social Care set out the fundamentals of leadership in the sector, showing how everyone can play their part in developing leadership in social care.
It aims to do three things:
- Explain why leadership in adult social care matters
- Set out what leaders can do that will help make social care excellent
- Show how it can be made to happen
