Launch of the Community Nursing Research Strategy for Wales
In March 2013, Jean White, the Chief Nursing Officer for Wales, officially launched the strategy that will provide holistic care with a nursing workforce that is flexible, adaptable and knowledgeable.
Professor Joyce Kenkre, with support from the Wales School of Primary Care Research and the RCN has led the project and together with over 50 community nurses and midwives working across Wales have developed the next steps to shape the future of the Community Nursing Research Strategy.
