Professor Julie Taylor, RCN Research Society steering committee member and Head of Strategy and Development (Abuse in High Risk Families), National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (NSPCC), used the topic of child protection in her keynote address at the RCN 2011 annual international nursing research conference to talk about the contribution of nursing in reducing the gap between health and social care.
