The award, sponsored by Journal of Advanced Nursing, is available to new or inexperienced researchers, currently undertaking a postgraduate course of study leading to a higher degree (MSc, MPhil, PhD).

RCN Research Society Akinsanya Award for Innovation in Doctoral Studies in Nursing
The award will be granted to the most innovative thesis in the nursing disciplines. Excellence in scholarship, innovation and the potential to influence health care policy or practice will be the main criteria for deciding the award.
