21 January 2010: fourth annual poster forum
This year’s event which attracted entries from Nurses, Midwives and AHPs across the Eastern Region was a collaboration between the Cambridge University Hospitals Foundation Trust (CUHNHSFT), the West Anglia Comprehensive Local Research Network (CLRN), Anglia Ruskin University and the RCN nursing research society (Eastern region).
Fifteen posters were displayed and included work from current Master's and PhD students, as well as showcasing work undertaken by NMAHPs working within larger research teams. The prize was awarded by Dr Pat Troop, non-executive director at CUHNHSFT.
The prize of a £50 book voucher was won by Joanna Weston, a dietician (see photo) for her poster ‘The Evaluation of an Intensive Weight Management Programme’.

The posters stimulated a lot of interest and this proved an excellent opportunity for networking and discussion, raising the profile of research and research-related projects and opportunities for future collaborations.
