Call for papers - guidance for inclusion

If you would like to include details of a conference that has an open call for abstracts/papers to be included in the weekly RCN weekly research e-bulletin, we ask that you carefully consider whether it meets the following criteria:

  1. There is a research and/or practice development strand in the conference, and nurses are eligible to attend.

Please submit details of the conference to Gabrielle Levy, email: gabrielle.levy@rcn.org.uk with the subject heading "Call for papers", and include the following information:

  1. Organisation running the event
  2. Title of event
  3. Date and venue of event
  4. Details of event (please keep this brief, about 50 words)
  5. If possible, specific URL where people can find out more information (NB www.myuniversity.ac.uk is not a specific URL, www.myuniversity.ac.uk/health/diary/event.htm is a specific URL)
  6. Contact details for people to phone/email for more information

As a general rule, all items accepted for inclusion will be included in ONE issue of the e-bulletin; in addition, it will be placed in the Latest News section of our website for the entire time it is relevant. If you want your item listed in multiple issues of the e-bulletin, you may want to consider our advertising option.
