Diary dates - guidance for inclusion
If you would like to include details of an event in the weekly research e-bulletin of the RCN Research Society and RCN Research and Innovation Team, we ask that you carefully consider whether it meets the following criteria:
- primary focus of the event is research and/or practice development, and one which nurses are eligible to attend. All training days and courses will have a research theme to some extent, but typically to be included in this section, the course title will mention research and/or practice development.
If you would like to submit details of your event, please email Gabrielle Levy, email: gabrielle.levy@rcn.org.uk with the subject heading "Event", and include the following information:
- Organisation running the event
- Title of event
- Date and venue of event
- Details of event (please keep this brief, about 50 words)
- If possible, specific URL where people can find out more information (NB www.myuniversity.ac.uk is not a specific URL, www.myuniversity.ac.uk/health/diary/event.htm is a specific URL)
- Contact details for people to phone/email for more information
As a general rule, all items accepted for inclusion will be included in ONE issue of the e-bulletin; in addition, it will be placed in the Latest News section of our website for the entire time it is relevant. If you want your item listed in multiple issues of the e-bulletin, you may want to consider our advertising option.
