John says: "My name is John, I am 24 and come from Newry in Northern Ireland. I am a member of St John Ambulance and also work with for the fire service as a youth instructor. I am just commencing my third year, adult branch at Queens University, Belfast. I have had many differnt careers but finally I seem to have found one that brings the best out of me and that I am truly passionate about. Being a member of the RCN Student Commitee is an honour as I have spent the last two years as a student information officer (SIO) observing the commitee and now get to be part of it. I want to represent the students of now, protecting you as a student and your future as a registered nurse."

Stephen says: "My name is Stephen, I live in County Antrim in Northern Ireland and I am a married father of two. For many years I have wanted to become a nurse, having spent most of my career employed as a health care assistant and senior carer. An access diploma opened the gateway to my nurse training and I am now in my second year. As an RCN Student Committee member, I am passionate about making positive changes for members, listening to your concerns and needs, in the hope of making nursing the best possible vocation that it can be.
