- free subscription to the quarterly students’ magazine, the answer
- access to a superb nursing-specific library service - explore the on-line service - 400 on-line journals and over 200 on-line textbooks
- access to a dedicated student team who will be able to help with any issues you may face - contact them by ringing Gill Robertson on 020 7647 3765 or emailing her on gill.robertson@rcn.org.uk
Student roadshows
The RCN Student Conference has been revamped and we now visit every region and board within the UK with a travelling roadshow, packed full of inspiring speakers and useful information for every student nurse.
We are in the process of releasing dates for the 08/09 conferences and so please visit the Events section via the left hand side column. Places are strictly limited so please do not delay booking your place. You can contact Laura King, student coordinator for a booking form by email: ans@rcn.org.uk
the answer
Every quarter RCN student members receive a free copy of the answer, the RCN magazine for students that is packed with articles and information relevant to your studies and your life. Take a look at feature articles from the latest edition of the answer
National Union of Students membership
The NUS represents your interests at the university, while the RCN's professional advice and representation plays a key role during your clinical placements and vocational work. Together we further your cause on a national level and tackle the issues that matter to you.
The RCN and NUS have formed a partnership agreement to make sure you get the best of both organisations. Nursing and midwifery students are automatically made members of their university student union, usually the NUS.
