Calling all RCN nursing students in South West Inner London

The Royal College of Nursing South West Inner London Branch is offering one student a funded place to attend RCN Congress, taking place 21-25 April in Liverpool.

Congress is the biggest event in the nursing calendar and the biggest nursing conference and exhibition in the UK.

Eligibility

To be considered for the funded place, applicants must:

• be an RCN student member of South West Inner London Branch currently undertaking a pre-registration nursing course
• have the approval of your course tutor/university to attend
• be able to commit to the full week of Congress as a voting member
• be willing to write a short reflection piece after Congress.

Candidates must also write a 500 word (maximum) statement answering these questions:

• what can I learn from Congress?
• what can I bring to Congress?

Entries must be sent to Anthony McGeown, Branch Communications Officer, at amcgeown@nhs.net by 8pm on 22 January.
