The RCN Bus

The RCN Bus is an exciting way for members to access invaluable RCN resources. With the top-deck of our double-decker converted into a seminar room for the delivery of sessions by expert staff and the lower-deck a cyber cafe and resource centre, members can test-drive the RCN e-library, publications and staff expertise just by stepping on board.
Below you will find a list of sites already confirmed including universities, hospital sites and large-scale events. This list will be updated as more sites are confirmed so please do keep coming back to find out when the bus will be coming to you.
If you have an upcoming event the bus could attend, would like to use the bus as a venue for something a bit different or have any feedback on the RCN Bus please email Laura King, Student Co-ordinator, on laura.king@rcn.org.uk

Our favourite part of the bus project is that we get to meet so many members face-to-face. Students have been telling us they had no idea how much the RCN has to offer and that they particularly liked the e-library.
Helena from UCS said: "The RCN e-library has been really useful to me but I didn't know it had all those journals and books until I went onto the RCN Bus."
Joanne from the University of Southampton told us: "If it hadn't have been for the RCN Library I would not have been able to complete my most recent assignment."
If you want to find out more about what happens on the bus you can find some useful information on our Presentations and information page.
This project is supported by Partnerships in Care and you are encouraged to come along to the days when we are visiting Partnerships in Care (PIC) sites to find out more about their services and employment opportunities.
