The RCN Student Bus

At the end of the pilot tour we are really proud to have seen 3,069 visitors in just 10 weeks, despite the two weeks lost to bad weather earlier in the year. You have come out in your droves to learn more about the RCN and how you can make the most of your membership.
Due to the tremendous success of the pilot tour, the bus will continue on its trip around the UK between now and the end of October. Below you will find a list of sites already confirmed and you will notice that we will be visiting more hospital sites and have expanded into large scale events. Our favourite part of the bus project is that we get to meet so many of you face to face, students have been telling us they had no idea how much the RCN has to offer and that they particularly liked the e-library.
Helena from UCS said: "The RCN e-library has been really useful to me but I didn't know it had all those journals and books until I went onto the student bus."
Joanne from the University of Southampton told us: "If it hadn't have been for the RCN Library I would not have been able to complete my most recent assignment."
If you want to find out more about what happens on the bus you can find some useful information on our Presentations and information page.
This project is supported by Partnerships in Care and you are encouraged to come along to the days when we are visiting Partnerships in Care (PIC) sites to find out more about their services and employment opportunities.
