Our career factsheets contain an overview of key nursing roles you might want to consider when it comes to planning your career. If you're studying to be a registered nurse, you’ll also need to choose which of the four nursing specialisms you’d like to study during your degree. A range of interactive learning materials on CVs, interview skills and career development are also available on the RCN Learning Zone.

Kick start your career with our great networking opportunities, where you can meet other students, hear from newly registered professionals and start building relationships with health care professionals:

  • chat to other students and have your say in the students group on the RCN Discussion Zone
  • sign up to one of our events and conferences, a fantastic place to meet other health care professionals and hear from leading speakers across the UK.
