RCN funds

The RCN offers its members two funds, the Benevolent Fund and the RCN Sick Nurses Fund. Here you can find who is eligible for financial assistance, what the funds cover and how to apply.

Make a donation

You can make either a monthly or annual payment to the funds in addition to your membership fee. You can set up a payment by either ticking the Benevolent Fund donation box on your membership renewal form or
contacting the RCN Welfare Service for a direct debit form on: 

Do you pay tax?

UK tax payers can gift aid their donation – which means the RCN can claim 28 pence back for every pound that you are able to donate. You can find out more about gift aid on the government website at www.hmrc.gov.uk/charities/claim_tax_back.htm.
