Full newly qualified member
Eligibility criteria
Full newly qualified membership is available only to those nurses who are in student membership of the RCN and have achieved a nursing or midwifery qualification enabling them to register with the NMC for the first time.
Exclusions
This category is only available to those individuals are in student membership of the RCN at the point they complete their training and register with the NMC.
Period of availability
This category of membership shall apply for one year from the date of conversion from student membership to full newly qualified membership, and the member will then automatically be transferred to full membership one year later.
Current subscription rate
One half of the current full member rate. See the Appendices section for further details.
