I have a question about my membership card or welcome letter

I have joined the RCN. How long will my RCN welcome letter take to arrive?

You should receive your welcome letter within seven to 10 working days of RCN Direct membership receiving the completed application.
Please note that if you have joined at an RCN student recruitment event your welcome letter may take longer to arrive. 

My RCN welcome letter did not arrive. Can I order a replacement?

Yes. If after two weeks you haven't received your welcome letter please contact our membership team and they can check if your letter is on its way. If there is a problem, a replacement letter can be ordered.

I have lost my RCN membership card, can I order a replacement?

Yes. Contact our membership team asking for a replacement. Please note that replacement membership cards can take seven to 10 working days to arrive.

My RCN welcome letter is damaged can I order a new one?

Yes. Contact our membership team asking for a replacement. Please note that replacement membership packs can take seven to 10 working days to arrive.

I have found someone's RCN membership card, what should I do?

Please return this card to the RCN using the following freepost address: Royal College of Nursing, Freepost WD2215, Cardiff CF23 8XG.

Is my membership card proof of RCN membership?

Your membership card is not proof of RCN membership. If you need to check your membership status logon to MyRCN or alternatively contact our membership team who will be happy to assist you.
