The RCN Learning Zone is a web-based resource that supports the professional development of RCN members and the work of RCN Activists.
New on the Learning Zone
- Health care assistants and accountability can be found in the Personal Development learning area. This resource developed by the RCN and the Working in Partnership Programme (WiPP) aims to help members of the nursing family develop a clear understanding of accountability and responsibility
- Do you need to produce or review a poster? This new resource, Poster presentations is aimed at helping you master these creative skills. It can be found in the in the Skills for Learning learning area.
What's in the Learning Zone?
All the learning within the Learning Zone is designed in bite-sized chunks which means that each opportunity can be completed within 30 minutes. The learning is structured to allow you to dip in and out as and when you need it and as you work through each area you are encouraged to add material to your professional portfolio on how you are updating your knowledge and skills.
As well as the learning areas you will find tasters of future tutorials, 5-minute learning opportunities and case studies. Why not put some fun in to your learning by visiting the ‘Time Outs’ within each section – these include quizzes, word searches or crosswords.
