This year the RCN is supporting more Pride events than ever before with stalls, floats and parades joining in the fun. Come along and join us in celebrating equality and diversity and be proud to get involved.

Saturday 15 June: Pride Scotia Edinburgh
The Edinburgh march will assemble outside the Scottish Parliament from 11.30am and will move off promptly at noon up the Royal Mile. It will then halt for half an hour or so outside the City Chambers for the usual speeches before moving on up the Royal Mile along George IV Bridge to Bristo Square. (Route and timings subject to Edinburgh Council permission.)
In Bristo Square there will be an outdoor stage with entertainment.
Teviot Row House will also have licenced bars and full catering facilities, as well as the following:
- Health and community fair
- An indoor stage with more entertainment
- Sports bar with sport on large screen TVs
- Afternoon club with all your favourite scene DJs
- Unlicensed tea dance hosted by the Order of Perpetual Indulgence.

Saturday 29 June: London Pride
London Pride has joined forces with UK Black Pride for the 2013 parade taking place at the Golden Square, Soho.

The parade begins at 12pm from Custom House Square.

Saturday 6 – Saturday 13 July: Bristol Pride
The week-long Bristol Pride festival begins on Saturday 6 July 2013, with events ranging from comedy, theatre, film, sports and dance as well as collaborations with St Paul’s Carnival and the Bristol Shakespeare Festival.
Pride Day itself will be held on Saturday 13 July in Castle Park in the heart of the city centre, and will once again see a massive outdoor cultural music and arts festival, along with a takeover of the O2 Academy for the official After Party fundraiser.
Bristol Pride is a free and accessible event for all to attend. Pride is the chance for all LGBT people, their friends, families and allies across the South West to stand up and declare they are proud of who they are and their loved ones.

Saturday 3 August: Brighton and Hove Pride
The RCN stand will be in the Community Village in Preston Park all day. We’re currently looking for members who’ll be attending and would like to get involved in some way – even if it’s just by wearing an RCN Proud T-shirt on the day – please email alyson.fixter@rcn.org.uk

Saturday 10 August: Swindon and Wiltshire Pride
Swindon and Wiltshire Pride 2013 is a free event that is open to everyone, offering a safe and fun environment for members of the community to get involved. The event helps to break down barriers and build bridges between LGBT and non-LGBT communities.
The parade is scheduled to start at 11:15am, after meeting at 10:30am, and will take a route through old town Swindon, normally lasting 45 minutes. More details will be confirmed nearer to the time of the event.
There is also the opportunity for the community to access various support services in relaxed and welcoming surroundings.
