That this meeting of RCN Congress calls on Council to set up an English National Board, on a par with the RCN Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland boards, to bring together the work of the RCN English regions
This resolution was defeated at Congress. The Governance Support Committee is currently reviewing how Council and Council Committees work to ensure they fulfil their UK-wide brief, that decision-making processes are informed by the position in all four countries and that all briefing papers and policy statements reflect the position in Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland and England.
