Booking a fringe event

During Congress week, a lively programme of fringe events takes place alongside the main activities of Congress.  The programme includes a variety of training, learning, social and celebratory events that are hosted by an array of different groups and on numerous different topics.

We are now calling for event requests for the Congress 2008 fringe programme.

Request form and guidelines

The application process for the Congress fringe programme has been given an over-haul for 2008 to give clear criteria for holding a fringe event, to simplify the types of event and also to provide one form to meet all requirements.

We recommend you read the revised and shortened guidelines before completing the form.  To make it easier for you and to save paper, you can download and complete the form on-screen and return it by email.

The application form and guidelines for requesting a fringe event or presenting a poster at the RCN 2008 Congress are below:

• Fringe request guidelines (Word 0.1MB)
• Fringe request form (Word 0.5MB)

Please note that in addition to the ‘organiser’ signing off the Fringe Request Form, a UKAG signature is also required before the form is presented to RCN Events.

Event and poster presentation requests can only be made by RCN forums, significant interest groups (SIGs), RCN boards, regions, branches and departments.  All other requests should be directed to:
