Emergency items

The call for proposed resolutions and matters for discussion for Congress 2010 is now closed. Many thanks to all for the submissions received.

However, we are now calling for emergency congress agenda items. Members can submit items for consideration from now and right through Congress 2010 itself.
Emergency items should relate to an issue which has occurred since the original closing date (30 October 2009). They should be politically and/or professionally significant  in relation to the RCN itself and create good debate. Any submitting entity can submit an emergency item. They must be proposed by a voting member from the submitting entity and seconded by a voting member from a different submitting entity.

In addition, emergency agenda items can be put from the floor. Again they need to be seconded by a voting member from a different submitting entity.

All emergency agenda items require the agreement of a majority of voting members in order to be accepted on to the agenda.
