Join us as James Taylor from Stonewall – the lesbian, gay and bisexual charity – showcases the new Healthcare Equality Index which is open to all NHS organisations to enter for free. The purpose of the index is to assist in tackling homophobia in the areas of employment and service delivery and to be used as a tool for the NHS to benchmark its progress on sexual orientation equality. The meeting will also discuss the progress that has been made by the RCN around tackling homophobia.
This event at Congress is also the annual business meeting of the LGBT Network.
