Social events
In response to members' feedback, this year we have made the social programme more fit for purpose to ensure that you can make the most of your time at Congress, enjoy more of your regional and country events, and experience fewer clashes in the events that you wish to attend.
Sunday 21 April
Welcome reception for members at the ACC, Riverside Arena Concourse with hot fork buffet from 8-9.30pm. Kindly supported by RCN Publishing and Nursing Standard.
Monday 22 April
Socialise and network with your local peers at your regional and country reception, with comlimentary two course evening meal provided for members.
Tuesday 23 April
Comedy night from 8-11.30pm at the Epstein Theatre. Tickets cost £12 and can be purchased from the Information hub at the ACC. Compared by Susan Morrison, with three comedians and a television star – this is a night not to be missed.
Wednesday 24 April
Celebrate Congress by dining around the dock with dinner from 7.30pm at your choice of one of ten local restaurants in by the Albert Dock. Then rock around the clock from 9.30pm with live entertainment and a disco at the ACC Liverpool. Tickets available from the Congress Registration Desk from 2pm on Monday 22 April.
There will also be a daily tea and networking party exclusive to students, HCAs and APs on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 4.30-6pm.
Thursday 25 April
PanAm, in the Albert Dock has been designated as the meeting place for delegates who are unable to travel home on Thursday, following the close of Congress, and wish to meet up with other friends and colleagues. Delegates should make their own arrangements for dinner before heading to PanAm for 9.30pm. However, they do have availability for dinner on Thursday evening so please contact them directly to make a reservation on 0151 702 5840. Voting delegates may claim expenses for dinner on Thursday.
A selection of discounted drinks will be on offer to delegates who show their conference badge at the bar so please remember not to recycle your badge on Thursday. There will also be a disco for those who still have some energy left!
