Drawing on information from major child sexual exploitation investigations across the UK, and specifically from work carried out in Derby, this event will provide an update on current developments in the area of child sexual exploitation.
It will cover the challenges for health care workers in recognising the signs and symptoms of child sexual exploitation and how to screen and intervene effectively to support the physical and mental health of these young people.
