Public health is every nurse's business
Public Health Forum
- Wednesday, 12.45-13.45
- | The ACC 12
Nurses might have unique public health roles, or deliver public health messages as part of everyday care provision. It is therefore crucial that nursing expertise and experience is fully recognised and utilised within the proposed new public health system. Participants will have the opportunity to hear from leaders in the field, meet Public Health Forum members and discuss the opportunities and challenges ahead.
Our intention is to energise and (re)invigorate nurses into action!
This seminar builds on the RCN’s publication: Going upstream: nursing’s contribution to public health, the RCN Public Health Forum’s 2012 conference: Prevent promote and protect: Public health is every nurses business, and the RCN response to the DH: Healthy Lives, Healthy People consultation 2012.
