These are turbulent times for promoting equality within the NHS given the publication of the Francis Report and the urgent need to save £20billion across the NHS. In this meeting, Maxine James, Jagtar Singh and NoIa Ishmael of the BME Leadership Forum will share how they have been working to keep race equality on the agenda within the NHS. This session provides a valuable opportunity to find out more about the work of this vital forum in keeping equality on the agenda as well as helping to shape the next stage in the forum’s development.
