Recommending HCAs' Day

Part of Congress since 2009, HCAs’ Day in Liverpool gives both RCN members and non-members an opportunity to get involved in topical debate, listen to inspirational speakers and join in with sessions to further their careers.

David Herring an HCA at Bedfordshire Hospital NHS Trust says, “Congress gives HCAs the opportunity to meet others in the same position as themselves and realise the day-to-day issues and concerns they have are actually shared by many others. Sometimes you can feel like you’re out on your own, but then at Congress you’ll find someone who’s experienced the same thing and can offer advice.

“There’s also the opportunity to learn from speakers and seminars; contributing to your own development and the quality of care you provide.

“This year I’m going to stay longer at Congress to experience what happens after HCAs’ Day and spend some time in the debates.”

Congress is free to attend, so why not register today.
