Make the most of HCAs’ Day on Monday 11 April
Be part of the biggest event on the 2011 nursing calendar by attending the free HCAs’ Day at RCN Congress in Liverpool.
Taking precedence will be hot topics of interest and concern to Health Care Assistants (HCAs) and Assistant Practitioners (APs). HCAs’ Day is free to all HCAs and APs, whether RCN members or not, and is a chance to share experiences, learn more about your changing role within health care and to network with other nursing and health care staff.
The Liverpool Arena and Convention Centre will be the venue for a range of events with inspirational speakers and lively debates. Dr Peter Carter, the RCN Chief Executive & General Secretary, will deliver a keynote speech, and there will be a full timetable of seminars, including a report on the new national picture for HCAs and APs. You will also be able to obtain advice on becoming an AP and what the role involves.
As an extra bonus you can also visit the RCN Congress Exhibition which will be bursting with future employers, as well as information about useful products and services.
RCN Congress is a fabulous opportunity to meet other HCAs and APs from across the UK and discover more about the RCN.
To find out more view full listings and information on the sessions and you can also register online in advance to avoid queuing on the day.
