Students’ Day: make it your destination

Be a part of the biggest event on the 2011 nursing calendar by attending RCN Congress in Liverpool.

Students’ Day on Tuesday 12 April promises to, once again, be a sea of students as future nursing staff descend on Congress, helping to shape the future of nursing.

The day offers you the chance to attend a wealth of fringe events for student specific advice. Just some of the seminars on offer are: career progression advice; stress and how to deal with it and the student experience of global practice placements.

Visit the students at Congress web pages for full listings and further information of the sessions available, you can pre-book these sessions to avoid disappointment on the day.

Hear from key political figures and take part in and listen to intense debate. Last year's attendees turned out in their hundreds and saw former Prime Minister Gordon Brown and Liberal Democrat Leader Nick Clegg speak. (Former Conservative Shadow Secretary of State for Health, Andrew Lansley, spoke the following day).

Those that attend the day will also have the opportunity to browse the UK’s largest nursing exhibition which will be bursting with potential future employers. You can network with peers and mingle with registered nursing professionals from across the country. After an eventful day you can then relax at the dinner and party.

With all this and more on offer completely free of charge register now either online at www.rcn.org.uk/congress or call events registration on 029 2054 6460.
