The role of the rheumatology nurse is evolving. Rheumatology specialist nurses are an integral part of the multi-disciplinary rheumatology team – playing an active role in managing and educating patients with rheumatoid conditions.
MSD recognises this and is developing a support programme: You and Rheumatology Support. To start this long-term initiative, MSD is sponsoring a series of meetings across the country that have been developed for nurses like you, with nurses like you.
These meetings will bring together a truly knowledgeable faculty that will provide opportunities to exchange current ideas with fellow rheumatology nursing professionals.
