Minor Injury Essentials

This highly evaluated programme focuses on the needs of community practitioners who are now expected to include basic injury review and care. The course covers history taking essentials and application of the anatomy of the upper and lower body musculoskeletal structures to various physical assessment techniques. It also reviews appropriate management of common traumatic MSK presentations. Wound assessment and closure techniques along with some basic minor clinical procedures are covered on day 3. The workshop is very hands on and very relevant to everyday practice.
