2013 Nurses Day

Basildon and Thurrock- Thursday 9th May

A stand was held in the main reception, incorporating Nurses Day and staffside issues and was attended by Regional Officer Chris Hill.

Suffolk Community Healthcare - Thursday 9th May

Community nurses received massages throughout the day

Ipswich Hospital - Friday 10th May

Staff are visiting the wards to deliver cakes and to promote the RCN

Peterborough City Hospita l- Friday 10th May

A stall is going to be held at the Atrium between 9am-3pm, alongside a display board of the stories posted on the RCN Nurses Day website, with sticky labels provided so that attendees can write their own messages from within the Trust. Local MP Stuart Jackson is to attend the event around mid-day.

There will be a cake stall with donations going towards new games and books for the Amazon children's ward.

James Paget University Hospita l- Friday 10th May

There is going to be a Celebratory Coffee Morning for all members of the nursing team.

Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust

There is to be a display by management in the boardroom and the Nursing Awards are also going to be held on this day.

South West Essex Community Services

There is to be a Nurses Day Conference on this day.
