Cumbria Constabulary will mark this year’s International Day Against Homophobia & Transphobia (IDAHO) by holding its third online meeting for the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) communities.
On Tuesday 14 May 2013 from 6:30pm to 8:30pm, a host of partners; PiNC (Pride in North Cumbria), G.O.B.S. (Gay Older Brothers & Sisters), Spectrum (University of Cumbria), Trans Lakes Nights and OutREACH Cumbria will be available online during a web chat hosted on the University of Cumbria’s website.
Representatives from these organisations will be available to offer support and guidance as well as promote the services available in Cumbria. Officers will also be online to provide LGBT communities the opportunity to gain advice, find out about crime and hate-related issues locally and ask any questions.
