RCN Travel Health annual conference and exhibition
Date: 18 September 2010 to 18 September 2010
Location: Cavendish Conference Centre, London
Recent disasters have demonstrated how travellers can inadvertently get caught up in unexpected situations and in some cases following the delivery of humanitarian aid.
Travellers also continue to travel to increasingly diverse destinations. As a result, nurses continue to see increasing numbers of travellers seeking advice, many presenting at the last minute with complex travel itineraries. This conference will address these issues and more.
Join us to hear about research on how travel health consultations are conducted – are we getting it right and how can we make sure we do get it right? There will also be the latest on how to advise your patients on mosquito-borne diseases. You will also hear how you can play a vital role in preparing the armed services for deployment and the care on their return.
By attending this conference you will have the most up to date information and resources to ensure that you can provide the best quality of care to your clients.
This conference is recommended to all nurses involved in delivering travel health services.
