RCN Scotland is a key influencer in the health agenda in Scotland and has significant health policy influence in the Scottish Parliament. Our member-led parliamentary activity helps ensure that nurses and nursing are at the top of the political agenda in Scotland.
Some of the key areas of our work include providing regular briefings for MSPs, journalists and others that detail the RCN's stance on debates in the Scottish Parliament and other parliamentary issues relating to health.
We also organise a number of parliamentary forums that provide opportunities to debate and inform Scotland's health policies and to raise specific issues relating to nurses and nursing in the Scottish Parliament.
And we offer our members political influencing skills training sessions for those looking to get more involved.
