All aboard

The first ever RCN Student Bus has been launched. The fully converted double-decker bus hosts a seminar room, cyber café, surgery section and publication area and aims to make RCN services more accessible to students by touring universities and hospitals across parts of the UK.

Harvey Morgan, Chair of the Association of Nursing Students, said: "The bus is a fantastic means for the RCN to really get out there and get noticed. It's taking services to students, as opposed to sitting back and letting students come to the RCN. With so much to see and do, the bus is very interactive and is a fantastic advert for all the RCN has to offer."The RCN Student Bus is a pilot project and will be undertaking two separate tours, finishing in February 2010. Read more about the bus and where it's going to visit on the students' area on the RCN website:  www.rcn.org.uk/development/students/rcn_student_bus.

Working with The CarbonNeutral Company, the RCN Student Bus Tour has achieved Carbon Neutral® event status. This project is supported by Partnerships in Care.
