Recruitment in independent and non-NHS sectors

Activists in the independent and non-NHS sectors can easily help the RCN to increase its profile and membership among colleagues and peers.

Around 30 per cent of RCN members work outside the NHS and this number continues to grow.

The College has produced a number of booklets highlighting the benefits and services available to RCN members. These are for those working in care/nursing homes (code 003 980), hospices (code 003 981), independent hospitals (code 003 982) and general practice (code 003 992). 

Copies of the care/nursing home booklet and the hospice booklet can be ordered now to distribute throughout workplaces to increase awareness and help with member recruitment.

The booklets for independent hospitals and general practice can be pre-ordered.
