Breastfeeding - Good Practice in the East of England

A new report,'Examples of Breastfeeding Good Practice in the East of England,' has been funded by the NHS East of England and written by Lyn McIntyre , Project Lead: Maternity and Neonatal Services. The purpose of the report is to share examples of good practice and was compiled following a scoping exercise carried out with Heads of Midwifery and Maternity Commissioners.

The report (PDF 4.29MB) includes contact details for those who would like further information on the examples described, along with access to information leaflets and posters.

It is hoped that commissioners and providers will use this document to borrow or adapt existing good practice in order to develop services in their own localities.
