Health visiting workshops in Herts

If you are a registered nurse who is thinking about becoming a health visitor then please be aware that Hertfordshire Community NHS Trust is running two application workshops.
The workshops are designed for any member of qualified nursing staff, considering applying for the Specialist Community (Public Health) and Specialist Community Nursing courses.
The workshops take place at Robertson House, Six Hills Way, Stevenage, SG1 2FQ, on:
- March 25 2013, 10am to mid-day
- June 5 2013, 10am to mid-day
The workshops will cover
~ Electronic application - via NHS Jobs website and HR process.
~ Application do’s and don’ts & process
~ Use of Reflection skills
~ Beds & Herts Library information
~ Course information, Preparation of study from UoH Representative
~ Questions & Evaluation
By the end of the programme, delegates will have:
- An understanding of the application process and be able to apply electronically
- An understanding of the course content and student expectations
- Be prepared for an interview and reflection
