London Region Reception at Congress 2013

More than 150 London members from all parts of the capital attended a successful London Region reception at the Crowne Plaza in Liverpool on the Monday evening of Congress this year.

Noeleen Behan was the deserved winner of the London merit award for outstanding services to members. Noeleen, who is Lead Nurse for Performance and Informatics at Barnet and Chase Farm Hospitals Trust, was nominated by her branch, Outer North Central London.

The event was themed around the 150th anniversary of Transport for London, and a speech was given by Geoff Dunmore from TfL about the contribution of London Underground to the delivery of health services. A collection was made for the London Air Ambulance, part of the UK Helicopter Emergency Medical Service.
