RCN London Member Named Nurse of the Year

RCN London Member Matthew Hodson was named Nurse of the Year at the Nursing Standard Awards for his work setting up the Breathing Space clinic in 2011 to help patients in the advanced stages of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. Congratulations go to Matthew from everybody at RCN London.
Other notable recipients of awards from London were Cerdic Hall, a primary care mental health liaison nurse who won the International Nursing award, and the Haringey learning disability team from Whittington Health who won the Leaning Disability Nursing award. The lifetime Nursing Achievement award went to Baroness Audrey Emerton.
