Tier 3 structures for new HSC organisations

The DHSSPS has published a consultation paper on its proposed tier three structures for the new HSC organisations that will be created through the Health and Social Care (Reform) Bill as from 1 April 2009.
These comprise the Regional Agency for Public Health and Social Well-being, the Regional Health and Social Care Board, the Regional Business Services Organisation and the Patient and Client Council.
The proposed new tier 3 posts include assistant directors at the Regional Agency with responsibility for health protection and improvement, health and social well-being improvement, service development and screening, research and development, allied health professions and public involvement, and safety, quality and patient/client experience.
At the Regional Board, a proposed range of assistant director posts will cover strategic planning, commissioning, performance management, and service improvement.
