Celebrate Nurses' Day in Canterbury with music and giveaways

Published: 07 May 2013

The RCN East Kent Branch will celebrate International Nurses' Day in Canterbury City Centre on Saturday 11 May.

Branch members will gather under a gazebo on Rose Lane Square between 10.30am and 3.30pm.

Local Southern African gospel music group Royal Destiny will perform and the branch's very own 'Street Doctor' will answer the public's health questions.

The group will also provide free blood pressure checks and give away pens, badges, bags, nursing journals and other publications.

The branch is currently looking for a battery-operated PA for the day, and asks anyone who can help them to get in touch with Peggy Pryer, Branch PR Officer, on 07860 591867 or by emailing eastklentrcnbranch@yahoo.com.
