Free Dementia Care events for the South East's HCAs
Published: 19 February 2013
Health care assistants and care support workers in the South East region are invited to attend one of two free events taking place in March.
'Principles of dementia care for health care workers - be accountable for the care you provide' runs on Wednesday 13 March in Aylesbury and Thursday 14 March in Brighton. The RCN South East is running the event twice in order to reach as many HCAs as possible. Both members and non-members from private sector and NHS organisations are warmly welcomed.
Caring for individuals with dementia is a responsible and challenging role. This is a fantastic opportunity to find out more about some of the key issues, as well as looking at how to create healthy, supportive relationships at work.
Lunch and coffee are provided free of charge, and if you join the RCN on the day you will receive a £10 shopping voucher.
Booking is essential as places are limited.
