Meet the South East's Independent Sector Team

The RCN in the South East now has a dedicated team working in the Independent Sector.

The team aims to build good relationships with members and managers in non-NHS workplaces such as care homes, hospices and private hospitals.

The number of RCN members in the independent sector rises every month and the team intends to ensure there is good communication between the sector and the RCN in the region.

This will be achieved through, among other things, newsletter Independent Update, a Palliative Care Conference planned for November this year and regular visits to independent workplaces.

The team consists of team leader Teresa Budrey, plus Sue Bucksey, Carole Stimson, Fiona Soule, Claire Lovatt and Julie Lewers.
